Ruswater Dormer Stud is one of the pioneering Dormer breeding operations established in the rocky hills of Potchefstroom, NW, South Africa. Our stud is founded on the distinctive maternal lines of Rhenosterbosrug (Erika Hanekom), renowned for their fertility and outstanding maternal traits.
We carefully select sires from specific herds to breed functional, adaptable offspring. Our animals are known for above-average weaning weights, early maturity, high fertility, and breeding values that emphasize reproduction for both intensive and extensive systems.
As a father and daughter team (Fanie Kruger and Theana Kruger), our mission is to give back to the Dormer community wherever possible, and we are also proud members of the NW Dormer Group, Capital Dormer Group and Wild West Dormer Group.

Ruswater Dormers is van die eerste Dormer Stoetterye wat in die klipkoppies van Potchefstroom, NW omgewing gevestig is.
Ons stoet se fondasie is gebou uit Rhenosterbosrug Dormers (Erika Hanekom) se kenmerkende moederlyne, wat bekend is vir vrugbaarheid en uitstaande moedereienskappe.
Streng geselekteerde kudde vaars is daarna uit spesifike kuddes gaan haal om funksionele aanpasbare nageslag te teel.
Ons diere staan bekend vir bo-gemiddelde speengewig ,vroegryp diere, hoë vrugbaarheid en teelwaardes wat spesifiek klem lê op reproduksie vir intensiewe en ekstensiewe stelsels.
As pa en dogter span (Fanie Kruger en Theana Kruger) is dit ons missie om terug te ploeg in die dormer gemeenskap waar ons kan, en is ons ook trots deel van die Noord Wes Dormer Groep, Capital Dormer Groep en Wild West Dormer Groep.
